APQP Engineer – Quality (Tangier)

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking an APQP Engineer to join its quality team in Tangier. You will be responsible for driving advanced quality initiatives, ensuring customer requirements are translated into robust manufacturing processes, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute APQP/ANPQP activities and other customer‑specific quality programs.
• Translate the Voice of the Customer into technical specifications, special characteristics, and control plans.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA, PPAP, and PSW documentation and lead their approval processes.
• Validate tooling, ensure line readiness, and consolidate lessons learned for manufacturing.
• Lead G8D meetings to resolve quality rejections and prototype issues.
• Prepare regular quality reports and support cross‑functional quality improvement projects.
• Participate in employee evaluations and undertake business trips as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 2 years of automotive industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management standards.
• Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Results‑oriented mindset with strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
