APU Process Engineer – Wipers Activity

About the role

Valeo is looking for an APU Process Engineer to support the Wipers activity. You will work on the definition, development and optimisation of automated assembly stations, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Define Sequential Function Charts (SFC) for internal or outsourced assembly stations.
• Develop, tune and set up process‑automation stations, including cobot integration.
• Assess and receive process stations, ensuring compliance with IProM, CLEAN, safety and VPS rules.
• Coordinate process development with product definition and manage the development schedule.
• Improve equipment TRP, drive continuous‑improvement projects and reduce cycle time.
• Maintain all process‑related documentation and alert managers when standards are not met.
• Secure backup solutions for automated stations and equipment.
• Connect PLCs to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with error‑code management and traceability features.

Required profile

• Motivated to learn, take initiative and question existing practices.
• Strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
• Bac+5 in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Entry‑level candidate with good English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
