Area Sales Manager

About the role

TOMRA Food is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth in Morocco. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Agadir or Marrakesh, and focuses on delivering tailored sorting and processing solutions to food industry customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market potential, track market share and identify new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and sales opportunities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through order closure.
• Own commercial targets and consistently deliver results.
• Monitor customer activity, market trends and competitor activity.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable TOMRA technologies.
• Plan and structure sales activities, including forecasting and pipeline management.
• Conduct regular customer visits, demonstrations, webinars and promotional events.
• Collaborate with internal sales, service, pre‑sales engineering and other TOMRA teams.
• Provide structured market feedback to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher qualification in technical, commercial or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably selling large capital equipment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
• Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
