Area Sales Professional

About the role

The Area Sales Professional will drive new order growth within an assigned territory for Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical technology. You will manage customer relationships, ensure market transparency through CRM data, and uphold the company’s sales process and profitability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Territory Action Plan based on market segmentation.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and report findings internally.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities, updating the CRM accordingly.
• Protect and expand the installed Siemens base by collaborating with specialist sales teams and the Business Manager.
• Lead commercial negotiations, product demonstrations, and system evaluations in coordination with marketing and project management.
• Maintain regular client visits, monitor satisfaction, and resolve complaints.
• Provide weekly CRM updates, daily reporting to the Area Sales Manager, and prepare sales forecasts and visit reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in healthcare or medical technology.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service, and market analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for opportunity and data management.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
