Assistant District Manager

About the role

The Seasonal Assistant District Manager supports business growth across multiple retail locations, providing leadership development and hands‑on experience in recruitment, operations, and profitability. This full‑time seasonal position runs from September 2026 to April 2027, with potential for year‑round continuation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of seasonal teams across six or more stores/kiosks, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of seasonal employees, and oversee tax education processes.
• Monitor employee performance, partner with HR on training, development, and employee relations issues.
• Maintain store facilities, technology setups, and relationships with property managers.
• Drive business growth by retaining existing clients, attracting new ones, and enhancing brand awareness.
• Handle client complaints, provide guidance on complex issues, and ensure high service standards.
• Track P&L performance, manage discount and productivity reports, and meet district revenue and cash‑control goals.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience; management or tax preparation coursework preferred.
• Minimum two years of management or supervisory experience with a passion for leading teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work evenings and weekends during the season.
• Reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using tax preparation or accounting software.
• Familiarity with online time‑tracking, email, and internet browsing tools.
