Assistant Professor of Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, and Chemical Engineering

About the role

The Applied Chemistry and Research Engineering (ACER) program at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks an Assistant Professor to lead research and teaching in fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, and chemical engineering. The successful candidate will develop innovative projects in process intensification, reactor modeling, and sustainable energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cutting‑edge research on CFD, adsorption‑based separation, heterogeneous catalysis, and energy conversion technologies.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects and theses.
• Teach and develop courses in fluid mechanics, transport phenomena, and chemical process engineering.
• Secure research funding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the ACER Centre.
• Publish findings in high‑impact journals and present at international conferences.

Required profile

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: fluid mechanics, transport phenomena, separation processes, or energy conversion.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications and proven teaching experience.
• Experience in both process modeling/design and experimental research.
