Associate, Fundraising and Investor Relations

About the role

The Associate will support Africa50’s Fundraising & Investor Relations team by delivering high‑quality analysis, investor materials and pipeline intelligence, while actively identifying and engaging prospective investors.

Key responsibilities

• Research and originate prospective investors, assess strategic fit and develop actionable leads.
• Prepare and maintain investor pitchbooks, presentations, fact sheets and dashboards.
• Support fundraising execution through DDQs, data‑room preparation and investor information requests.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor market trends and provide actionable intelligence.
• Participate in investor meetings, follow‑up discussions and drive next steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Investment Management or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 3‑5 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, private equity, infrastructure or related finance roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
