Associate Repair Technician

About the role

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for an Associate Repair Technician to join its global team that automates, digitizes and transforms banking and retail experiences. In this entry‑level position you will repair, test and refurbish mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies, ensuring they meet the company’s technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, isolate and correct product malfunctions using drawings, sketches and wiring diagrams.
• Disassemble, clean and refurbish assigned product components.
• Assist with test performance, logging results and reporting findings.
• Develop working knowledge of Diebold Nixdorf product lines, test diagnostics and procedures.
• Participate in on‑the‑job, classroom and web‑based training sessions.
• Follow company policies, electrostatic discharge safety guidelines and operational manuals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• 0–2 years of experience with mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
