Associate Software Engineer – BI Dashboard Designer

About the role

The Associate Software Engineer will focus on designing and building high‑quality, predefined Business Intelligence dashboards and reports using TARGIT. Working from Casablanca, you will collaborate closely with R&D and Product Management teams in Denmark to deliver intuitive, visually strong, and scalable BI solutions for ERP systems across the Forterro ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop predefined dashboards and reports in TARGIT based on business requirements.
• Translate use cases into clear, intuitive visual dashboards with strong navigation, storytelling, and drill‑down capabilities.
• Define and visualise KPIs that provide meaningful business insights.
• Ensure dashboard deployment can scale across multiple customers.
• Continuously improve user experience, visual quality, and consistency across all BI solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of dashboard design guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to create reusable, productised BI components.
• Prioritise customer value and usability over unnecessary complexity.
• Participate in customer discussions when needed to gather feedback and inspiration.

Required profile

• Strong visual design and layout skills, including colour theory, hierarchy and gestalt principles.
• Ability to design intuitive dashboards with clear structure and logical data flow.
• Excellent data‑storytelling capability and understanding of how users consume insights.
• Solid grasp of KPIs and business logic within finance, sales, supply‑chain or manufacturing domains.
• UX‑focused mindset with emphasis on usability and customer value.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, international teams.
• Confidence to question assumptions and suggest design improvements.
