Automated Driving Verification Test Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is looking for an Automated Driving Verification Test Engineer (H/F) in its Software Organization (SWX), which is building automated driving capabilities. The engineer works in the Verification team of Core SW Virtual V&V, which verifies the network, diagnostic and functional requirements of L2+/L3 features. The post is a permanent contract (CDI) in the Software & Electric and Electronics field.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test cases for L2+/L3 features, then automate them in a CI/CD pipeline
• Create test cases for requirements coverage and run them on Open Loop or HIL benches
• Write test cases in pseudo-code, CAPL and Python, and debug and resolve test issues with the required tools
• Evaluate new pipelines entering the company and give structured feedback to the team lead
• Support the team in resolving problems for new verification test cases

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent ABET-accredited degree
• 2+ years of experience in HIL or bench testing (e.g. ControlDesk, Python)
• 1+ year of experience setting up and maintaining HIL or bench equipment
• 3 years of proactive coding in C and Python
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, communicate with team members and customers, and learn software toolsets quickly
• Preferred: Master's degree, knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving features and architectures, and experience with Pytest, CAPL and Canoe.Diva

Required skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of CAN and Ethernet networks
• Knowledge of network and diagnostic test protocols and tools (INCA, Canalyzer, Canoe)
• Knowledge of software testing toolsets and languages
• Preferred: Classic or Adaptive AUTOSAR, DLT, Diagnostics over IP and UDS, ALM tools (IBM Doors, Polarion, Codebeamer), and Open Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop test platforms
