Automated Driving Virtual Validation Team Lead

About the role

Stellantis is looking for an Automated Driving Virtual Validation Team Lead for L2-L3 test activities, within its Software Organization (SWx) which is building automated driving capabilities. The role coordinates the virtual validation team and covers the test strategy, test scenarios, test platforms and test execution.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with all testing stakeholders and coordinate team activities for creating test scenarios, defining test platforms such as SIL and HIL, and implementing tests to cover customer requirements for ADAS/AD features.
• Technically lead the team in using the test platform toolchains to run validation testing.
• Improve test automation across the team, including data analysis to flag issues, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate the team to debug and resolve test issues and report software and hardware defects.
• Provide structured feedback to project managers and contribute to process improvements, test methodology and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in software DevOps or CI/CD simulators or commercial simulation tools.
• 3 years of proactive coding experience in C++ and Python.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software testing toolsets and languages, and ability to coordinate a team and report to Verification and Validation management.
• Preferred: Master's degree, knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving features and electronic architectures, knowledge of SIL and HIL test platforms, 5+ years in AD scenario-based simulation, familiarity with Docker, Airflow and Jenkins, C++ and QEMU emulation test experience, and experience leading autonomous driving validation teams.
