Automation Engineer – Automotive Test Automation

About the role

Expleo is seeking an Automation Engineer to support test automation and validation activities within an automotive environment. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and continuously improving automation tools that prepare, execute, and analyse test campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools using Python and VBA.
• Design applications that reduce manual effort and boost validation efficiency.
• Automate creation, updating, and execution of test plans.
• Build API interfaces to connect different validation tools.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between testing platforms.
• Automate test‑result analysis and generate reports.
• Analyse measurements, traces, and logs to detect anomalies.
• Provide technical support to validation teams during automated campaigns.
• Continuously enhance existing tools with new features and optimisations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in English and French.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent Python and VBA programming abilities.
• Autonomous, organised and detail‑oriented.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
