Automotive Requirements Management Engineer (DOORS DXL)

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Requirements Management Engineer with strong expertise in IBM DOORS and DXL scripting. The role focuses on handling component‑level and cross‑sectional requirements for automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DXL scripts for data import/export in IBM DOORS.
• Create and manage DOORS attributes, validate baselines and ensure correct linking of sub‑modules.
• Implement multi‑export solutions from DOORS to Excel and perform specialized data extraction for reporting.
• Adapt and use VBA macros in Excel for efficient searching, data manipulation and status‑report automation.
• Support requirement management activities for Component‑LAH and Querschnitts‑LAH domains, including versioning and variant configuration management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with DOORS DXL scripting and import/export automation.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, especially component and cross‑sectional (Querschnitts) areas.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher) and ability to work independently.
