Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions that span on‑premises, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role focuses on secure integration, governance, and cost optimisation while supporting our digital factory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy hybrid cloud architectures integrating Azure, on‑prem, and OCI.
• Configure and manage Azure services such as Site Recovery, App Services, Storage, SQL Server, SQL Database, AKS, and Azure NetApp Files.
• Implement private endpoints, governance policies, tagging standards, and compliance frameworks (CAF/WAF).
• Enable CNAPP protection for Azure subscriptions.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM/Bicep templates.
• Manage subscription onboarding and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Implement native backup, monitoring, and endpoint protection (Carbon Black, Microsoft Defender).
• Apply FinOps practices using CloudBolt for cost governance.
• Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to optimise cloud spend.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, OS (Windows/Linux), and platform issues, including OS hardening.
• Handle change requests through ServiceNow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• Proven experience designing hybrid multi‑cloud environments.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, Administrator Associate) are a plus.
• Experience with OCI integration and manufacturing or industrial domains is advantageous.
