B2 Certifying Engineer

About the role

Air Arabia is seeking a B2 Certifying Engineer to join its maintenance team in Tanger, Morocco. The role involves performing and supervising scheduled maintenance on Airbus A320 aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, securing necessary parts, tools, and ground support equipment.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections, accurately recording any defects or damage.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and engineering instructions.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within authorized scope, confirming completion of all required documentation.
• Coordinate communications with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless handover and continuity of work.
• Manage safety by applying mandatory precautions, using proper protective equipment, and addressing human‑factor considerations.
• Provide internal customer service, supervise technicians, and represent Air Arabia professionally to flight crews and customers.
• Maintain cost awareness by minimizing waste of consumables and avoiding unnecessary rework.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part 66 and DGAC B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Company approvals for maintenance on Airbus A320 aircraft.
• 3–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and certification.
• Strong understanding of maintenance documentation, safety procedures, and human‑factor principles.
