Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and improving backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role bridges software engineering expertise with data annotation to ensure high‑quality training material for artificial intelligence models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and complex backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured engineering feedback and reasoning for dataset improvements.
• Assess server‑side code performance and logical accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
