BI Front‑end Designer – Dashboard & Report Design

About the role

The BI Front‑end Designer will create high‑quality, predefined dashboards and reports using TARGIT for ERP systems across the Forterro ecosystem. Working closely with R&D and Product Management teams in Denmark, the role focuses on delivering intuitive, visually strong, and scalable BI solutions that prioritize customer value and usability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build predefined dashboards and reports in TARGIT.
• Translate business requirements into clear, intuitive visual dashboards with strong navigation, storytelling and drill‑down capabilities.
• Define and visualise KPIs that provide meaningful business insights.
• Ensure dashboard deployments scale across the product portfolio.
• Continuously improve user experience, visual quality and consistency.
• Contribute to design guidelines and standards for BI solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to create reusable, scalable dashboards.
• Engage with customers when needed to gather feedback and refine requirements.

Required profile

• Strong visual design and layout expertise, including colour theory and hierarchy.
• Ability to design intuitive dashboards with logical data flow.
• Excellent data‑storytelling skills and understanding of how users consume insights.
• Solid grasp of KPIs and business logic.
• UX‑focused mindset with emphasis on usability and customer value.
• Effective collaboration in cross‑functional, international teams.
• Confidence to question assumptions and suggest improvements.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Experience with BI and data‑visualisation tools such as TARGIT, Power BI or Tableau.
• Background as a BI Consultant, Data Analyst, UX/UI or Graphic Designer working with data.
• Basic technical understanding of BI environments (beneficial but not required).
