Business Development Manager - Morocco

About the role

Mamoru is expanding its financial services across Africa and seeks a Business Development Manager to lead the launch of its operations in Morocco. You will act as the local representative, establishing the entity, building relationships with financial partners, and developing the FX trading business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the local entity, including opening bank, FX broker, exchange, and payment processor accounts.
• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure smooth local operations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants, and payment processors.
• Develop and grow the FX trading business targeting high‑net‑worth, institutional, merchant, and individual clients.
• Stay informed on market trends, risks, and new opportunities within the FX payments industry.
• Serve as nominee director of the local entity and manage administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Prior experience in banking or FX with solid understanding of trading products and trade life cycles.
• National of Morocco.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
• Flexible mindset to adapt to fast‑changing market conditions and new tasks.
• Meticulous, able to multitask and manage projects independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
