Business Development & Proposal Intern

About the role

S2L Group is seeking a motivated Business Development & Proposal Intern to support active U.S. federal contracting opportunities. This hands‑on internship involves researching opportunities, reviewing solicitations, sourcing vendors, coordinating pricing, preparing proposals, and managing CRM data.

Key responsibilities

• Research and review federal contracting opportunities.
• Assist with vendor and subcontractor sourcing and coordinate quote requests.
• Support the preparation, formatting, and review of proposals.
• Conduct market and pricing research.
• Collect and organize required proposal documents.
• Maintain accurate information in the company’s CRM and tracking systems.
• Assist the Business Development team with ongoing assignments and deadlines.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, management, marketing, communications, supply chain, procurement, international business or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent research, writing, proofreading, and document‑formatting abilities.
• Professional communication skills for phone and email contact with U.S.-based companies.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments under firm deadlines.
• Persistent and professional when following up for information.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Experience with CRM systems.
