Business Development Representative - Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with in-house positions at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Its clients include startups, digital agencies and tech platforms in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. This is a full-time, independent contractor position for a Sales Development Representative with proven experience in SEO or digital marketing sales, focused on driving new business through outbound sales.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, email and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads
• Identify and research target companies within key industries
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on ICP criteria
• Book discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and campaigns
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (meetings booked, conversion rates, pipeline generated)

Required profile

• Proven experience in cold outreach, lead generation and appointment setting
• Experience selling digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing)
• Strong written and verbal English communication and persuasion skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated and target-driven
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment

Required skills

• CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
