Business Development Specialist – Schools & Tenders

About the role

The Schools & Tenders Business Development Specialist will expand BIC's presence in education and institutional procurement channels across Morocco. You will build relationships with schools, ministries and procurement decision‑makers, present BIC stationery solutions and support national school engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national school coverage plan, segmenting priority schools and education networks.
• Conduct structured field visits with school leaders, teachers and purchasing teams to present product benefits and gather market insights.
• Maintain relationships with the Ministry of Education, AREFs and provincial delegations, ensuring compliance with anti‑bribery and public procurement rules.
• Monitor public and private tenders, qualify opportunities, and coordinate technical documentation, samples and certificates.
• Collaborate with Sales, distributors and stationers to improve product availability ahead of back‑to‑school periods.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Public Procurement or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in field business development, institutional sales, education partnerships or tender management.
• Fluent in Arabic and French (written and spoken) with professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM tools, opportunity trackers, tender portals and digital procurement platforms.
