Business Product Owner – Data and Analytics

About the role

Join APM Terminals, a Maersk company, as a Business Product Owner for Data and Analytics. You will shape the vision and roadmap of data products that drive operational performance across a global network of terminals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy and roadmap for assigned data products.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, user needs and technical requirements.
• Translate business objectives into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
• Partner with data engineers, scientists, BI developers and architects to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance, security and compliance across data products.
• Monitor adoption, product performance and business outcomes, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or related field.
• At least 3 years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience with proven backlog management.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, analytics solutions and modern data platforms.
• Experience developing product roadmaps, managing stakeholders and delivering data‑driven products.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
