Business Transformation Analyst – Finance ERP Implementation

About the role

The Business Transformation Analyst will support the pan-EMEA implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012/D365 for finance and operations. Reporting to the ECS EMEA Financial Processes Manager, the analyst will work with local business units, IT and transformation teams to migrate systems, test new functionality and harmonise finance processes across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Act as finance process expert for modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank and shipping/claims.
• Maintain the core model governance structure and manage evolution of finance processes, functional and reporting requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis between local systems and the AX core model, and support documentation review and user‑acceptance testing.
• Validate IT functional specifications, provide formal sign‑offs and lead end‑to‑end acceptance testing for system migrations.
• Support implementation of AX add‑on tools (e.g., invoice scanning, cash application) and deliver post‑go‑live support.
• Provide end‑user training on finance‑specific processes and modules.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or IT with a focus on finance.
• Minimum three years of experience in a Finance‑IT role, preferably on ERP implementations.
• Strong multicultural communication skills and fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, stress‑resilient and able to work independently.
