C++ Software Developer - Windows

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain C++ libraries and components for a vehicle diagnostics platform, primarily on Windows. The initial assignment involves building a Windows DLL that connects diagnostic applications to a D‑PDU API via gRPC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ libraries and software components for a vehicle diagnostics platform on Windows.
• Build a Windows DLL that connects diagnostic applications to a D‑PDU API using gRPC.
• Integrate existing native APIs and device interfaces, focusing on client‑server communication and hardware integration.
• Investigate integration issues, improve reliability, and test components with applications and devices.
• Contribute to J2534 and RP1210 components as the project evolves.
• Occasionally work on Linux development or create small Qt‑based tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional C++ development experience with strong Windows expertise.
• Working knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Experience developing Windows DLLs is highly valued.
• Experience with Qt and familiarity with automotive communication protocols are strong assets.
