Cashier – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Cashier to join our team at a Marriott hotel in Fes. In this full‑time position you will be responsible for handling all guest payments, maintaining accurate cash records, and delivering courteous service in line with Marriott’s standards of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process all payment methods according to accounting procedures and property audit standards.
• Handle cash, blind drops, bank deposits and end‑of‑shift cash counts, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Set up and maintain a clean, fully stocked cashier workstation.
• Welcome guests, respond to service needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.
• Answer telephone calls using professional etiquette and provide clear information.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior cash handling experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong confidentiality mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Basic computer operation.
