CFD Simulation Engineer Automotive (m/f/d)

About the role

Bertrandt AG is seeking a motivated CFD Simulation Engineer to support automotive development projects. You will apply computational fluid dynamics to improve vehicle performance in areas such as thermodynamics, acoustics, and aerodynamics while collaborating with international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Apply CFD methods to develop solutions for thermodynamics, acoustics, aerodynamics, and related topics.
• Collaborate closely with pre‑ and post‑process partners and present results to development teams and project managers.
• Assist in refining development processes and creating new methodologies.
• Independently handle technical tasks and engineering challenges.
• Coordinate project activities from Germany within a multinational project environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in automotive, mechanical, aerospace engineering, physics or a comparable field with a focus on fluid mechanics.
• Business‑fluent English communication skills.
• High initiative, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work independently.
• Preferably some experience in the automotive sector or overall vehicle development.

Required skills

• Proficient use of ANSA.
• Experience with CCM+.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
