Claims Handler (English Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Claims Handler with strong English communication skills to manage insurance claims from notification through settlement. The role requires delivering professional, customer‑focused service while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, investigate, and process insurance claims promptly.
• Review documentation, verify policy coverage, and assess eligibility.
• Communicate with policyholders, brokers, healthcare providers, repairers, and other stakeholders.
• Determine claim validity and settle within delegated authority limits.
• Gather and analyse information to support claim decisions.
• Maintain accurate claim records in the claims management system.
• Monitor claim progress, follow up on missing documentation, and identify potential fraud.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, SLAs, and regulatory standards.
• Provide clear explanations of claim decisions and settlement processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases and improve satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Law or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in claims handling, insurance operations or customer service.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritise workload effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with claims management systems.
