Cloud Microservices Architect (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Microservices Architect to design, build and maintain robust cloud environments for our clients across Morocco and internationally. The role is fully remote and involves shaping architecture strategy, ensuring security, and driving automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud platforms with a focus on uptime, access control and network security.
• Define and promote best‑practice standards in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Research emerging technologies and advise product managers on feasibility.
• Create, refactor and rewrite cloud‑native applications.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles and contribute to agile software releases.
• Champion engineering practices such as SOLID principles and Test‑Driven Development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cloud Computing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud microservices.
• Relevant cloud certifications or diplomas.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and large‑scale deployment on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with at least four programming languages and deep understanding of JVM‑based architectures.
