Commis de Rang – Restaurant Service

About the role

The Commis de Rang supports the restaurant team by ensuring smooth service, maintaining standards, and delivering a memorable dining experience for guests. You will work closely with waitstaff and kitchen staff to keep the dining area organized and fully stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑service briefings for daily updates.
• Maintain mise en place levels according to standards.
• Assist waitstaff in keeping the service station stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Serve food and beverages following restaurant standards and guest preferences.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items offered.
• Ensure service and back‑of‑house areas remain clean and comply with health and safety standards.
• Handle guest comments and complaints appropriately and communicate them to management.
• Keep the uniform clean, presentable, and in good condition, reflecting professional hygiene and appearance.
• Polish silverware regularly to maintain proper upkeep.
• Participate in training sessions and any other reasonable requests from the manager.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail, style, and aesthetics in a hotel environment.
• College degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Good proficiency in English, Arabic, and French.
