Commis de Rang – Restaurant Service

About the role

The Commis de Rang supports the restaurant team by ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining a clean and well‑stocked station, and delivering food and beverage to guests according to the resort’s standards. This position works closely with waitstaff and management to provide a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑service briefings for daily updates.
• Maintain mise en place levels to the required standards.
• Assist waiters/waitresses in keeping the station stocked, clean and tidy.
• Serve food and beverages following restaurant standards and guest needs.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Ensure back‑of‑house and service areas remain clean and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Handle guest comments and complaints appropriately and relay them to management.
• Keep the uniform clean, presentable and in good condition, demonstrating professional appearance.
• Polish silverware regularly to maintain proper maintenance.
• Participate in training sessions and any other reasonable requests from the manager.

Required profile

• Attention to detail, style and aesthetics of the hotel environment.
• College degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar restaurant role.
• Good proficiency in English, Arabic and French.
