Community Relations Manager

About the role

The Community Relations Manager will work on‑site in Marrakesh to nurture an engaged, inclusive environment for members of Qafila Society. This full‑time position focuses on building strong relationships, supporting member growth, and enhancing the overall community experience.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, promote and execute events, workshops and networking activities for entrepreneurs, creators and professionals.
• Manage day‑to‑day member communications, inquiries, tours and onboarding processes.
• Support membership acquisition and growth through outreach, follow‑up and sales activities.
• Coordinate collaborations between members and external partners, representing Qafila Society in public relations efforts.
• Work closely with the leadership team to develop and improve community initiatives and member experience.

Required profile

• Proven community engagement and relationship‑building abilities, with a focus on inclusive environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse professional audiences.
• Sales and member acquisition experience, comfortable with outreach and follow‑up.
• Public‑relations expertise to represent the organization and build local partnerships.
• Event‑planning experience, capable of designing and delivering successful community programs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site, member‑focused setting with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Background in coworking, hospitality or community‑focused roles is a plus.
• Proficiency with standard office and communication tools; fluency in English and local languages is beneficial.
