Compensation & Benefits Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Morocco. The role will manage monthly payroll, statutory social security and tax filings, and the administration of employee benefits, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for local and expatriate staff, verifying attendance, overtime, and leave data.
• Prepare and submit CNSS/AMO social security declarations and monthly income‑tax (IR) withholdings.
• Reconcile payroll data with HR and finance records and produce regular payroll reports.
• Handle employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including CNSS registration and final settlement calculations.
• Manage benefits enrollment, act as the primary contact for compensation queries, and coordinate with insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate leave records and support managers on policy application.
• Ensure all C&B practices comply with Moroccan labor law, keep confidential records, and support audit preparation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to C&B policy development.

Required profile

• Moroccan national with 3‑5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
• Strong numerical ability and thorough knowledge of Moroccan labor, social security (CNSS/AMO) and tax regulations.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); native Arabic; working French is a plus.
• Experience in a multinational or multicultural environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
