Compensation & HR Analytics Analyst

About the role

The Compensation & HR Analytics Analyst ensures the accuracy and reliability of compensation, payroll and head‑count data across multiple African countries, acting as a key liaison between central HR and local finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and control compensation, payroll and payroll‑mass data for eight countries.
• Analyze compensation practices, contribute to policy development and update compensation tools.
• Conduct internal and external salary benchmarks and monitor the effectiveness of remuneration schemes.
• Support annual salary, bonus and promotion reviews.
• Track payroll budgets, forecasts and actuals; perform simulations and impact analyses.
• Ensure quality, consistency and reliability of HR data; identify and resolve anomalies.
• Produce and maintain HR dashboards and indicators (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, payroll mass).
• Analyze HR metric trends and provide insights.
• Enhance reporting and visualization tools, notably Power BI.
• Participate in HRIS evolution projects and new ERP roll‑outs.
• Monitor compliance with internal processes and country‑specific legal/social requirements; conduct audits and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
