Construction Manager – Façade Installation

About the role

Glassline is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on‑site façade, aluminium and glass installation activities in Rabat, Morocco. The role involves supervising installation teams, coordinating with multiple disciplines and ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise façade, aluminium and glass installation in line with approved shop drawings, method statements and installation sequences.
• Plan daily and weekly activities with the Project Manager, allocating manpower, equipment and work fronts to meet targets.
• Coordinate foremen, supervisors, subcontractors and direct labour, enforcing discipline, attendance and site rules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, labour costs, overtime and idle time, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Plan access systems, scaffolding, cradles and lifting requirements to ensure installation readiness.
• Work with QC Engineers to prepare for inspections, close non‑conformities and complete snagging.
• Enforce safety procedures, including PPE, working‑at‑height and safe glass handling.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in façade or construction site execution, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or construction‑management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Construction Engineering.
• Strong understanding of façade systems, aluminium profiles and glass installation methods, tolerances and sequencing.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑skilled teams and manage site pressure and deadlines.

Required skills

• Interpretation of shop drawings, sections and installation details.
• Practical knowledge of site logistics, access systems and installation equipment.
• Coordination with QC, BIM, logistics and storekeeping functions.
• Fluency in French (mandatory) and working knowledge of English and Arabic.
