Continuous Improvement Plant Focal

About the role

Hexcel is looking for a Continuous Improvement Plant Focal to drive efficiency and cost‑saving initiatives at its Casablanca facility. The role will partner with operations and leadership teams to embed Lean and Six Sigma practices across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across multiple departments.
• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, gaps and opportunities for optimization.
• Support compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, internal audits and control plans.
• Design and execute Lean/Kaizen events (VSM, SMED, TPM, 5S) to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Develop and communicate a short‑ and mid‑term CI vision in collaboration with management.
• Manage cost‑saving projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coach leaders and front‑line staff on CI tools and methodologies and create training materials.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering or production.
• Proven experience in manufacturing environments and quality control.
• Eligibility to work in Morocco.

Required skills

• Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Kaizen, TPM.
• Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt preferred).
• Data‑driven analysis and problem‑solving.
• ISO 9001 quality‑system knowledge.
• Cost‑savings project management.
