About the role

ACCIONA seeks a seasoned Operations Coordinator to lead the mechanical maintenance activities for its desalination plants in the ASNA zone. The role ensures reliable water pumping and energy recovery systems, supporting production across North Africa, America, and SEA.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate local teams performing mechanical maintenance on water pumping and energy recovery equipment.
• Guarantee rigorous work execution and timely recording in the CMMS/Abismo system.
• Prevent breakdowns that could impact plant production.
• Provide technical support to desalination facilities in North Africa, America, and Southeast Asia.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent professional training.
• 10‑15 years of experience in desalination, water treatment, plant commissioning or operation.
• Availability to attend client meetings.
• Experience in welding, turning, machining, and CNC operations is highly valued.
