Credit Collections Specialist

About the role

Iron Mountain is looking for a motivated Credit Collections Specialist to join its Customer Excellence team. The role focuses on driving a cash‑focused mindset, managing a strategic portfolio of accounts, and improving billing and commercial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, conduct customer visits and analysis, and achieve monthly cash targets while reducing overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Billing, Sales and Operations teams to identify and eliminate root causes of customer disputes, ensuring long‑term payment efficiency.
• Perform rigorous account reconciliations, manage receipt vouchers, and report monthly KPIs to leadership to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Required profile

• Good proficiency in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable or debt collection, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills for investigating invoice discrepancies and managing dispute resolutions.
• Technical expertise with ERP systems, accounting software, or dedicated receivables tools.
