Credit Controller (Spanish Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Credit Controller who can communicate fluently in Spanish and English. In this role you will manage the end‑to‑end credit and collections process, ensuring timely cash flow and accurate financial records for our global media intelligence business.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to remind and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Evaluate customer accounts for reconciliation issues and investigate aging balances.
• Meet or exceed monthly collection targets to support cash‑flow stability.
• Handle customer inquiries, disputes and develop strategies for recovering long‑overdue receivables.
• Maintain accurate credit and collection files and perform monthly portfolio analysis.
• Analyze accounts to recommend appropriate reserves for bad debts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• 1‑2+ years of experience in a credit control role with high‑volume transaction processing.
• Experience using a financial ERP, preferably Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics/Navision).
• Strong reporting abilities and the capacity to analyse financial data.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
