Customer Inventory Data Owner

About the role

The Customer Inventory Data Owner supports the Head of Master & Federated Data and the Inventory workstream lead in delivering a global solution for collecting and managing inventory data. This marketing‑oriented position ensures high‑quality data on installed offers, services and resources, enabling operational efficiency and commercial advantage across Orange Business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the business expert on inventory data (IO, IS, IR) and support projects in modeling, collection and issue resolution.
• Define and maintain the inventory referential, aligning CurrentCo and NewCo data into a single scalable model.
• Collaborate with data stewards and the Data Quality team to set KPIs, monitor accuracy and completeness, and drive root‑cause remediation.
• Lead the data ingestion component of the customer inventory stream and design target architectures with enterprise architects.
• Produce roadmaps that reflect business expectations, strategic projects, and data‑factory capacity, considering major transformations such as FEXIT, FEDINV refactoring, migration to Bleu, and MDM pilots.
• Own the inventory referential tools and coordinate stakeholder communities to gather and prioritize user‑story requirements for enhancements or new data sources.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in inventory or master data management within a large, multi‑national organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define data quality strategies and monitor performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of leading cross‑functional communities and aligning diverse business needs.
• Experience with data governance, data modeling and data ingestion processes.
