Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to lead the Customer Complaints and Excursion Quality Eradication Program for its Bouskoura plant. The role serves as the primary quality interface with the Kangaroo customer, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and continuous improvement of product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the Customer Complaints and Excursion Quality Eradication Program.
• Maintain the interface with division/FQS and the customer, meeting required cycle times.
• Act as the main quality liaison for the Kangaroo customer at the Bouskoura plant.
• Follow up on customer feedback and requests related to managed incidents.
• Produce best‑in‑class 8D reports and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives for managed packages and X‑fertilization programs.
• Participate in KPI deviation root‑cause analysis and action‑plan development.
• Manage internal and external X‑fertilization activities.
• Oversee customer RMA stock disposition.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) with at least 5 years of quality experience.
• Strong customer‑orientation and ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Knowledge of 5 Whys and Fishbone (Ishikawa) analysis.
• Experience with automotive quality standards and quality management systems.
