Customs Management Administrator – Morocco

About the role

The Customs Management Administrator ensures that all import and export customs documentation is prepared accurately, classified correctly, and complies with Moroccan customs and tax regulations. You will act as the main liaison between clients, internal sites, and the Customs and Tax Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and follow up on customs files and provisional declarations.
• Record transactions, update the information system and enter declarations into the BADR system.
• Attend inspections, coordinate customs operations with clients and site entities, and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Manage administrative follow‑up, resolve discrepancies, handle requests or complaints, and archive documents.
• Monitor due payments, prepare reservation letters, and conduct customs‑related research.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac +2 in customs declaration, international trade, logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within transport and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan customs regulations.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customs management software.
• Experience using the BADR system.
• Strong IT tool proficiency for data entry and reporting.
