Customs Operations Administrator

About the role

The Customs Operations Administrator ensures the accurate preparation of import and export customs documentation, classifies tariffs, and verifies compliance with Moroccan customs and tax regulations. You will act as the liaison between clients, internal teams, and the Customs and Tax Administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on customs files and provisional declarations.
• Record transactions, update the information system, and enter declarations into the BADR system.
• Attend inspections, coordinate customs operations with clients and site entities, and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Manage administrative follow‑up, handle discrepancies, complaints, and requests.
• File, archive, and maintain documentation, and monitor due payments and liquidations.
• Conduct research and studies on customs matters while complying with company quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac +2 in customs declaration, international trade, logistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within transport and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan customs regulations.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in French; English is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customs management software (BADR system).
• Strong IT tool proficiency for data entry and reporting.
