Data Analyst – FinTech (Mid/Senior)

About the role

Yassir is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support its Financial Services portfolio across Africa. The role involves turning large volumes of transactional data into actionable insights that drive product development and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer, transaction, merchant, and agent data to uncover trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across wallets, payments, bill payments, merchant payments, P2P transfers, and other financial products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Engineering teams to answer business questions and inform product decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking frameworks to monitor product performance.

Required profile

• Motivated analyst with experience in data processing, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization.
• Strong curiosity about data and AI, with a background relevant to FinTech or financial services.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment and contribute to data‑driven decision making.
