Data Financial Analyst – Business Cases & Value Monitoring

About the role

As a Data Financial Analyst you will support Orange in measuring and maximising the business value of Data and AI initiatives across the Middle East and Africa region. You will collaborate with business, finance and technical teams to build robust business cases, assess financial impact and track realised value after deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops with stakeholders to define scope, KPIs and value drivers for Data & AI use cases.
• Identify and quantify financial impacts such as revenue uplift, cost avoidance and OPEX/CAPEX savings.
• Map current versus target processes to illustrate value creation and link technical performance indicators to business outcomes.
• Prepare governance materials for Go/No‑Go decisions, prioritisation and documentation of assumptions.
• Define and implement value‑measurement plans during the RUN phase, guiding teams on live monitoring using DVM methodology.
• Support operational teams in building automated, reliable value‑tracking mechanisms.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, business modelling or related fields.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven capability to solve business problems through financial and operational analysis.
• Good knowledge of the telecom network domain and AI use‑case impact.
• Fluent in French and English; Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

• Financial modelling (ROI, Payback, NPV, IRR) and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
