Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Implementation Consultant – Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Implementation Consultant to design, deploy, and fine‑tune an enterprise‑wide DLP solution. You will work closely with customer IT and security teams to ensure the platform meets their data protection and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Activate and configure DLP software licenses.
• Install and deploy the DLP Management Server and configure it according to best practices.
• Design, implement, and fine‑tune DLP policies and rule sets.
• Deploy and validate endpoint agents on Windows and macOS devices.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and monitor deployment progress.
• Collaborate with customer IT/security teams throughout the implementation.
• Prepare deployment documentation, configuration guides, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Support UAT, go‑live activities, and ensure adherence to vendor and security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise DLP solutions.
• Hands‑on experience deploying DLP servers and endpoint agents.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS administration.
• Experience creating and managing DLP policies.
• Understanding of endpoint security, data protection concepts, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
