Data Security Analyst

About the role

Join Cnexia as a Data Security Analyst and help protect sensitive information across our enterprise environment. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure compliance with PCI DSS and safeguard data such as PII, PCI, and PHI.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate physical site inspections, manage hardware lifecycles, and guide application onboarding.
• Support PCI DSS compliance and application onboarding activities.
• Operate and monitor enterprise data discovery scans using DataStealth.
• Identify, classify, and protect sensitive data (PII, PCI, PHI).
• Troubleshoot scan failures and other security‑related issues.
• Analyze scan results and validate security findings.
• Collaborate with technical teams to drive remediation efforts.
• Manage ServiceNow incidents, requests, and escalations.
• Maintain stakeholder communications and compliance attestations.
• Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and tooling.

Required profile

• University or college degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Minimum of 3 + years experience in a similar data security role.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting.
• ITSM / ServiceNow ticket management and triage.
• Fundamental application/database architecture and network security knowledge.
• Database security management (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliance and web security concepts.
• Data discovery scanning tools (e.g., DataStealth).
