Demand Planner Manager

About the role

Join Bel Morocco as a Demand Planner Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s supply chain performance. You will lead accurate and reliable demand forecasting, ensuring that demand plans are aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local demand forecasting process and co‑build demand plans with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Develop reliable short‑, mid‑, and long‑term forecasts using statistical analysis, market trends, and business assumptions.
• Perform gap analyses versus budget, prior periods, and actuals in both volume and value.
• Prepare and facilitate forecast meetings, presenting assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Update demand plans in planning systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Track forecast performance (MAD, bias) and define improvement actions.
• Collaborate with supply teams to secure forecast feasibility, anticipate shortages or overstocks, and optimise inventory levels.
• Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes, tools, and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Strong experience in demand planning, supply chain or business planning, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Excellent command of forecasting and data analysis techniques.
• Fluency in French and English; Arabic is an additional asset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Advanced Planning Systems such as JDA or BW.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods.
