Development and Release Engineer – Glazing & Sealing

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Development and Release Engineer to lead projects within the Glazing & Sealing component scope. You will ensure that all engineering documentation, supplier interactions, and validation activities meet quality, cost, delivery, and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete engineering documentation for supplier sourcing packages and lead technical reviews.
• Analyse supplier feedback, defend Technical Choice Reports, and support supplier selection.
• Manage supplier deliverables throughout sourcing and development to guarantee supply readiness.
• Drive component development to meet QCDP objectives and deliver project milestones.
• Co‑design with suppliers, monitor compliance with APQP and quality processes.
• Lead Product FMEA, perform risk assessments, and support Process FMEA execution.
• Ensure timely prototype delivery for validation at vehicle and subsystem levels.
• Coordinate engineering changes, cost evaluation, and approval processes.
• Support manufacturing plants from pilot to launch with training, diagnostics, and problem‑solving.
• Consolidate and validate product and process validation plans (DV/PV) and manage corrective actions.
