Digital Close Consultant

About the role

Join a forward‑thinking finance team to help clients modernise their financial close processes. You will work remotely, collaborating with client finance teams to design, configure and deploy digital close solutions that accelerate reporting and reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing digital close platforms such as BlackLine, Redwood, Workiva and OneStream.
• Support finance transformation projects, focusing on streamlining reporting, inter‑company reconciliation and close cycles.
• Gather client requirements, analyse current processes and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Configure digital finance tools and contribute to solution design and deployment phases.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to drive finance automation and efficiency.
• Prepare documentation, training materials and presentations to facilitate adoption.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to up‑skill client teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, especially financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Basic project‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to stay current on finance technology trends.
