About the role

The General Director will lead a leading real‑estate promotion and land‑development company in Côte d’Ivoire. Based in Abidjan, the role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and integration of sustainability objectives across residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s development strategy in alignment with shareholders.
• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 22 employees, both directly and indirectly.
• Oversee economic, financial and operational performance of the business.
• Supervise real‑estate promotion programmes and land‑development projects.
• Guide design, construction and delivery of residential programmes.
• Identify new land and commercial opportunities and drive business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, investors, government bodies and institutional actors.
• Monitor key performance and profitability indicators.
• Improve work methods, organisational efficiency and embed ecological transition and sustainability into project design.
• Represent the company with external stakeholders throughout Côte d’Ivoire.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with at least 10 years of experience in general management or top‑level executive roles.
• Background in real‑estate promotion, land‑development, construction or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive commercial growth and negotiate partnerships.
• Experience implementing sustainable and ecological practices in real‑estate projects.
• Successful track record in a similar senior position within Africa.
